From October 13th to November 10th 2024<\/strong>, the autumn exhibition by KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN “Photography Art \u2013 Icons of Photographic Art”<\/strong> took place. The collector Roosen-Trinks was looking for photographs by well-known photo artists for the exhibition, whose motifs have now become icons. In addition, there were also new acquisitions of young photo artists who still work analogue and can be assigned to authentic photography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 7 April to 5 May 2024<\/strong>, the exhibition “Insta me, Baby”<\/strong> was held. The exhibition dealt with the diverse relationships between art and the digital world. The topic was also discussed in a panel discussion.

April 16th<\/strong> was a special day for many art-interested seniors from the region. Ingrid Roosen-Trinks, Head of the Association Kunst f\u00fcr Angeln e.V., guided these visitors through the exhibition \u201cInsta me, Baby”, together with the pupils from local schools who explained to the older generation the contemporary art of predominantly Danish and Schleswig-Holstein artists.

On 28th April<\/strong> a workshop for children took place with the artist Nele Engler. The works of art were exhibited in the KIDS ART CLUB Angeln.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sunday, 24th of October 2024<\/strong>: opening of the exhibition “PHOTOGRAPHY ART – ICONS OF PHOTO ART”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Icons of photography: just a mirror of the times? How does this particular meaning arise, why do certain photographs become so famous? Why are they put on book – or magazine covers? And why is this one motif on the cover?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These and other questions were addressed by Ingrid Roosen-Trinks, collector and board member of the association KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN e.V., and Timm Vollert, curator and member of the German Society for Photography e.V., together in the exhibition “Photography Art – Icons of Photo Art”.
The exhibition\u2019s finissage was on 10 November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

19th to 27th October 2023: “Photography Art overcomes Boundaries 2024 at Schloss Gelting”<\/strong>
In 2024, the von Hobe-Gelting family opened the Castle of Gelting and the Castle Park to the public. Six works on the photo project “German-Danish friendship” in the context of Photography Art overcomes Boundaries 2024, which was launched at the beginning of this year, were shown in a separate area. For this I have invited Schleswig-Holstein photo artists to look for someone on the Danish side and vice versa. Every couple should think of a concept, how one can best represent the theme of German-Danish friendship in photography”, described Ingrid Roosen-Trinks the idea. The result is motifs with very different interpretations, as they can be found in the various mentalities of the residents here and beyond the German-Danish border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

REVIEW 2023<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The association KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN looks back proudly on the art year 2023 with 10 projects in a total of 10 weeks of the year: <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) On April 16th, 2023 <\/strong>happened the opening of the exhibition ART OVERCOMES BOUNDARIES<\/a>.
Only works by artists from SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN and DENMARK were shown. The exhibition has been curated by Thomas Lunau, artist and director of the S\u00f8nderborg art school. Many visitors came to be present at the event, both german and danish folks. A musical intermezzo was offered by the student band \u201eLa Banda Viktoria\u201c from Flensburg.
The exhibition ended on May 14th, 2023<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

2) On April 16th, 2023<\/strong> was the continuation of a social project<\/a> during which students “abducted” elderly citizens from their retirement homes in Angeln into the world of contemporary art, featuring works by danish and nothern german artists.
Multiple trips for senior citizens from Gelting, Langballig, Schleswig, Kappeln, Flensburg and Satrup took place to visit the exhibition ART OVERCOMES BOUNDARIES of the Kunst f\u00fcr Angeln association at the WITTKIELHOF.
Organized and initiated by the Kunst f\u00fcr Angeln association. The project ended for now mid May 2023.

3) August 11th -13th, 2023: \u201eART & MUSIC OVERCOME BOUNDARIES\u201c<\/a>, a german\/danish cooperation.<\/strong>
KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN e.V. has built an \u201eArt Bridge\u201c from Schleswig-Holstein to Denmark and showed selected artworks from the Roosen-Trinks Collection in Schackenborg (with works of danish artists Thomas Lunau, Rasmus Bj\u00f8rn, Sofie Bird M\u00f8ller, Anne Lass, Jesper Kristiansen and german artists Henrik Becker, Thore Bernstein, Jorinde Voigt, Lennard Grau and Jonathan Meese) as a preview of the project’s second part ART&MUSIC OVERCOME BOUNDARIES<\/a> which happened in autumn 2023.
The project ART & MUSIC OVERCOME BOUNDARIES was made possible thanks to the kind support of Interreg Germany \u2013 Danmark and the European Union.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

4) From September 17th till October 15th, 2023 the exhibition<\/strong> “Mondwald und der unglaubliche Mai – 50 years of the Roosen-Trinks Collection”<\/a> curated by the artist Thorsten Brinkmann has been visited by many art lovers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

5) September 24th, at 12.00 h: A children’s workshop with the artist Malte Urbschat took place<\/a>.<\/strong> The children made sculptures inspired by Malte Urbschat’s guidance and artworks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

6) September 30th – October 8th, 2023: “ART IN THE CASTLE”<\/a><\/strong>
For the first time, the von Hobe-Gelting family opened Gelting Castle and the castle park to the public and showed contemporary art by artists from the region.
Paintings, photographs, objects and sculptures, curated by the association KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN.
Theresia von Hobe-Gelting states:\u201eShowing contemporary art in these historical rooms is a real premiere for us and the mix makes the special charm. We are particularly proud that we are also offering artists from the Angeln region an unusual exhibition platform for the first time! \u201c<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

For Ingrid Roosen-Trinks, head of KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN and curator of the exhibition, it is a stroke of luck. She said she was “incredibly happy” to be able to use the castle and the castle park: “It is open from time to time for private tours, on the national monument day, for example, but actually there is no public traffic here. We are the first to make an exhibition here, showing ART FOR<\/span> ANGLIA in a historical setting IN<\/span> ANGLIA! “<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

7) Art and Music overcome boundaries:<\/a><\/strong> a german & danish premiere for international cultural cooperation. The Schackenborg Musikfest & Kunst f\u00fcr Angeln , has presented artworks from the Roosen-Trinks Collection at the Schackenborg Music Festival in the castle in M\u00f8gelt\u00f8nder in August; and on October 7th and 8th 2023<\/strong>, the Schackenborg Music Festival has been a guest of the KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN association at the Wittkielhof. A matinee on October 8  was performed by the Danish Clarinet Trio, the baritone Viktor Rud from Ukraine, the German pianist J\u00fcrgen Christ and Christian Spevak from Flensburg with his ART LA CARTE jazz ensemble.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
