Art Comes to the kindergarten in 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Apri 2025l, the daycare center \/ Kindergarten directors of the region selected artworks from KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN<\/em> to borrow as inspiration for \u201ctheir\u201d children to create their own art.

The association\u2019s large autumn exhibition was titled \u201c<\/em>The Kids are the Stars \u2013 Germany\u2019s Largest Exhibition of Children’s Art<\/a>\u201d<\/em>, and the works created in the daycare centers \/ Kindergartens were exhibited in September and October 2025. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The association KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN and the Protestant Daycare Organization Schleswig-Holstein have presented an “art premiere” at the beginning of 2024: children from Flensburg and Scheggerott do not drive to the art but the art comes to the kindergarten. In January 2024, Katja B\u00e4r, head of the regional Protestant Daycare Organization and Maren Maltzahn, from the board of the kindergarten in Scheggerott, received loans of contemporary art from the  Roosen-Trinks Collection for their daycare centers with works by the young Flensburg artists Henrik Becker and Thore Bernstein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The learning place daycare center thus has become the art place of all children of these Kindergartens in Flensburg and Scheggerott – made possible by loans of original artworks of the association KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN e.V.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

“It is an exciting experiment and a premiere,” says Katja B\u00e4r, and we are excited to see how our kindergarten children adopt this new form of local art education. In any case, we hope for inspiration and creative ideas and thoughts for our 5 and 6 year old children and thus an extension of our program”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maren Maltzahn from Scheggerott: “We see this innovative art cooperation as an extension of our educational offers in our Kindergarten and are pleased to have the artworks with us till the end of March 2024, which serve as templates and inspiration for our children\u2019s own works of art. And then the results will be publicly exhibited in the KIDS ART CLUB ANGELN by the association KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN , at the WITTKIELHOF!

Ingrid Roosen-Trinks says: “Almost 2 years ago we founded our association KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN, precisely with the aim to offer not only to students, adolescents, seniors, and all people who live, work and go to school in Angeln, a simple and uncomplicated access to contemporary art – but also for children of kindergarten age! After lending works of art to primary schools in Angeln, further work is now being done on daycare centres in Angeln. This expansion of our program is now possible thanks to the new cooperation with the Daycare Organization Schleswig-Flensburg. The highlight will be the exhibition of the artworks of the children in April 2024 in our KIDS ART CLUB ANGELN – an exhibition space exclusively for children\u2019s artworks! Thanks to the ROOSEN-TRINKS Collection, we are now also making it possible with loans to experience contemporary art live on site. We are looking forward to the comments and the artworks of the children at the premiere and the exhibition in April 2024 in the KIDS ART CLUB ANGELN on the WITTKIELHOF!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the beginning of 2022, the KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN Association has regularly offered art workshops for children between the ages of 5 and 14 with artists who are represented in the Roosen-Trinks Collection. All workshops are free of charge – just like all program offers of the association – and are personally accompanied and supervised by artists, educators and the collector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now the extension of the loans of works of art – besides primary schools – to daycare centers in the Angeln region. The results of the children\u2019s artworks has been shown by the KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN Association also in 2024, in the KIDS ART CLUB ANGELN<\/a> at the Wittkiielhof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE ASSOCIATION KUNST F\u00dcR ANGELN EXTENDS THE COOPERATION WITH THE EVANGELICAL KITA-WERK FLENSBURG TO daycare centers and kindergartens IN STEINBERGKIRCHE, SCHLESWIG AND GELTING<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On the occasion of the first birthday of the only museum for children’s art in Schleswig-Holstein – the KIDS ART CLUB ANGELN – showed from 13 October 2024 works of art which were created exclusively by kindergarten children.

The cooperation with the kindergartens of the evangelical Kita (daycare centers) organization in Flensburg, Scheggerott and Gelting was so successful that it is has been expanded to include the daycare centers and kindergartens in Engelsby\/ Flensburg, Kita Hornbrunnen in Schleswig, Regenbogen Kita in Gelting and Kita Siebenstern in Steinbergkirche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And in 2025, the cooperation of Kunst f\u00fcr Angeln was continued with the daycare centers\/kindergartens in Freienwill, Boren and Flensburg as well as with the Klaus Harms school in Kappeln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
