A NEW ART PROJECT IN THE NORTH CELEBRATED ITS PREMIERE
The association KUNST FÜR ANGELN presented for the first time:

ART IN THE CASTLE
KUNST IM SCHLOSs

Theresia Baronin von Hobe-Gelting, Ingrid Roosen-Trinks and the association KUNST FÜR ANGELN presented on October 1st the project „KUNST IM SCHLOSs – Art in the Castle“

From October 1st to October 8th, 2023, the Baron von Hobe-Gelting family opened Gelting Castle and the Castle Park to the public for the first time and showed contemporary art by artists from the region. Paintings, photographic works, objects and sculptures, curated by Ingrid Roosen-Trinks from the association KUNST FÜR ANGELN.

Theresia Baronin von Hobe-Gelting: “Showing contemporary art in these historical rooms is a real premiere for us and the mix makes the special charm. We are particularly pleased that we can offer artists from the Angeln region an extraordinary exhibition platform for the first time!”

For Ingrid Roosen-Trinks from the association KUNST FÜR ANGELN, curator of the exhibition, it is a stroke of luck. She was “incredibly happy” to be able to use the Castle and the Castle Park.” It is only open from time to time for private tours, but actually there is no public traffic here. We are the first to make an exhibition here, so KUNST FÜR ANGELN shows ART IN ANGELN in a historical setting! “
