Exhibitions
The current exhibition “I Am a Drinnie” opened on April 19, 2026. Many visitors and artists were present!
Between withdrawal and self-assertion, the exhibition “I Am a Drinnie” makes visible a modern state of mind that many people recognize but rarely put into words. Around 100 contemporary works translate the concept of the “Drinnie” into a multi-voiced visual language for the first time. KUNST FÜR ANGELN e.V. thus brings a pop-cultural term into the art space—opening an emotional dialogue about retreat, closeness, and new forms of public life.
Staying at home is no longer a marginal phenomenon. German-Danish art engages with a term that precisely captures our present moment.

The association KUNST FÜR ANGELN has presented six exhibitions in recent years, the first being in 2022. In 2023, the association celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Ingrid Roosen-Trinks collection. Thus, a wide-ranging art education could be offered to the north German and Danish public. In addition to the exhibitions at the Wittkielhof in Stoltebüll, there were always other inspiring events, for example workshops, art by children, art against loneliness, art and music and more. The interest of visitors and participants was and is great and the commitment of the association will continue to enrich the region culturally in the future.
