For Katja Ruge – photographer, DJ, and music producer – photography, music, portraiture, and pop culture are inseparably connected.
As a photographer and interdisciplinary artist, she creates portraits that vibrate and come to life with sound, light, and emotion. Her work moves between music, art, and culture – capturing artists, creative minds, and brands from a wide range of fields. Her striking portraits convey the feeling of capturing the essence of her subjects, as seen in her photo project ELECTRIC LIGHTS – Women in Electronic Music.
The exhibition will be open from Septmber 28th to October 19th, 2025 at the Wittkielhof.
